Subject matter: Articles can be on any Jiu Jitsu related subject. Philosophy, psychology, sports medicine, history, literature reviews, interesting personal anecdotes, (tasteful) humour and training methods would all be good subjects for articles.
Article size: Aim for between three hundred and one thousand words. If your article is longer, consider dividing it into two or more articles.
Attachments: Please do not use graphics of any kind in your articles without prior consultation. Any web links should only appear at the end of an article as a reference and not in the body text.
Censorship: No swearing. No sexual innuendo. No language of intolerance, even if meant ironically or humorously (E.g. racism, sexism, homophobia, religious intolerance). Nothing which could be libellous. Nothing which could bring Hokutou Ryu into disrepute. No glamorisation of intemperance (I got so drunk...). If in doubt, remember children read this website too.
Editing: The editor may correct articles for grammar and spelling without consulting the author. Any major suggested changes of content will be sent to the author for approval. Minor changes may be made without notice. The editor reserves the right to not publish articles at his sole discretion.
